En estos tiempo de la tecnología, el Internet y la comunicación más rápida se han desarrollado nuevas herramientas de comunicación, y una de ellas son los seminarios  a través del Internet, o como le llaman en inglés “Webinars”. Estos pueden ser presentados en vivo o grabados para que después la gente los pueda ver a su conveniencia.

Pero, ¿qué es un “Webinar”?

Un Webinar es una presentación o evento a través del Internet en donde los participantes se conectan vía su computadora y el Internet con un programa diseñado  para ver lo que una persona tiene en su pantalla de su computadora, lo cual puede ser una presentación de PowerPoint, una fotografías, el texto de una carta, una hoja de cálculo y muchas más cosas en tiempo real. Pero no sólo las personas ven todo lo que está cambiando en la pantalla, además pueden escuchar al presentador o conferencista a través del teléfono, llamando a un número especial asignado, o a través de las bocinas del computador, utilizando el Internet, lo que le llaman “voz a través del Internet” (VoIP). Todo esto en la comodidad de su casa, oficina o de su lugar favorito, siempre y cuando tengan acceso a una computadora y al Internet.
